Head towards the old city, crossing the Qurum Beach area where sparkling reflections on the water create a magical spectacle, and palm trees majestically frame the night sky. Continue to Al Alam Palace, the Sultan's residence. Although the palace is not open to the public, its surroundings provide a picturesque backdrop to capture the essence of Omani royalty. Overlooking the waterfront, the palace is flanked by two forts from the 16th-century Portuguese era, Al Jalali and Al Mirani, which showcase the country's military architecture.
